Social Enterprises

Business With a Bigger Purpose.

Outreach Social Enterprises turn everyday transactions into opportunities for meaningful impact. When you shop, donate, volunteer, or engage with one of our businesses, you're helping strengthen Outreach's broader mission in the community.

The model

Where Commerce Meets Community Impact.

Our Social Enterprise businesses do more than sell products and services. They create opportunities for people, engage volunteers and customers, put donated resources to good use, and help support Outreach's work throughout the community.

Jubilee Furniture

Quality furniture. Second chances. Community impact.

A full-size store built around donated and pre-owned furniture, staffed by paid trainees learning retail, inventory and customer service. Donated pieces find a second home, and the work becomes experience someone can build a résumé on.

Jubilee Resale

Great finds. Greater purpose.

A resale shop where trainees build retail and customer service experience on the floor. Shopping and donating here help support the wider work of Outreach in the community.

Twice Is Nice

Good things deserve another story.

A resale shop with paid transitional jobs, where trainees learn merchandising, pricing and customer service alongside supportive staff.

Transportation Can Change a Life.

Donated vehicles are repaired and matched with families who need reliable transportation to work and school. A working car can be the difference between a job offer and a missed shift.

How it works

The Purchase Is Only the Beginning.

  1. 01A donor gives an item or resource
  2. 02Outreach puts it to productive use
  3. 03Customers purchase quality goods or services
  4. 04People gain experience and opportunity
  5. 05Resources help strengthen Outreach's mission

Employment

A Place to Learn, Work, and Grow

A social enterprise environment can create room for people to practice the parts of work that are hardest to learn in a classroom.

  • Build workplace skills
  • Interact with customers
  • Gain confidence
  • Learn responsibility
  • Work alongside supportive adults
  • Gain practical experience

Donations

Your Stuff Can Do More.

Furniture, clothing, household goods and vehicles donated to an Outreach Social Enterprise can find a second useful life, and support community impact along the way.

Accepted items, donation hours and drop-off details vary by business. Check the business page or call the store before you load the truck.
